<strong>Fenoglio&#8217;s memory<\/strong>, which during the partisan struggle was one of the garrisons of the Resistance.<br \/>\n<\/span>The town is dominated by the imposing <strong>castle<\/strong>, built in the<strong> second half of the 1200s.<\/strong><br \/>\nMango was an important place because, under the walls and the towers of the castle, passed the &#8220;Magistra Langarum&#8221; road, which led from Alba to the Riviera.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>A connection which left a trace in the local gastronomy<\/strong>: from the vineyards of the Langa came grapes and wines, from the Riviera came fish, salt and oil.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Inside the <strong>Castle of Mango<\/strong> there are still secret walkways which were once used to escape from sieges, and for some years it has been home to the regional winery and a
